“Hermione Cottage really is the ideal lakefront getaway…. Tranquillity, charm, great views, and a stones throw from the boatramp – it really does have it all. Can’t wait to come back!”

This is our second week long stay at Hermione and we loved it. A stay here is all relaxation. The cottage is immaculately cared for with nothing missing…with 3 little ones the ability to swim, explore for wildlife, bushwalk, fish and launch ... Read more

....and some of our feedback!
"We know how hard it is to find a place if we leave it till later in the year so best book now. And your place is absolutely the best.
The neighbours were fantastic too. Talked to a few of them, friendly and help out without even asking. The section is flat, the view is great, the boatramp a stones throw away (so I can leave my wife the car when I'm out fishing) the house is warm, comfortable, single story, a great selection of books and cd's, the fireplace is amazing and has a kiddy guard, the beds are comfortable, the lounge suite to die for (gotta love the recliner chairs), the crockery first class, the vaccuum cleaner is even flash!, theres plenty of firewood, boat jetty to tie up to, fish smoker, bbq, decks to relax on, quiet street for the kids to play, swing on the front lawn, etc etc... all of these things add up to a relaxing enjoyable stay and the best we have ever experienced. And to top it off, even though the fishing was hard, I managed to work out what the trout were taking and landed 10 trout with my 5 yr old son helping out. So its smoked trout for tea tomorrow.
I had a couple of friends call in who were staying down the road and friends from Taupo drop in for a coffee and they all want to book it now, hence us booking ahead for next year.
Thanks very much for the effort youve gone to with the holiday home."
