Omapere is a small settlement adjacent to Opononi at the harbour entrance of the Hokianga – New Zealand’s birthplace. A place steeped in history but with the sleepy charm of yesteryear. An ideal location for a family holiday or just a serious break away it all.
The house is on a huge, glently sloping beach front section with a white sandy beach for safe swimming and dramatic views across the harbour to the famous North Head sand dunes.
With the relaxed and casual ambiance that you would expect to find in a traditional bach, the house features a modern kitchen, large living room opening onto generous deck for outdoor dining and barbeques. Ideal for one family or several – there’s plenty of room with 3 bedrooms inside and 2 bunk rooms in a sleep out that the kids will love.
The house is fully serviced with towels and bed linen and a cleaning and laundering service when the time comes to head home.

Rates: Rates include:
- All linen, Bedding and towels supplied. Small cost for linen, towels and laundering of $7.50 per person.
Minimum stay: Christmas/January - 6 nights (1 week), public holiday weekends - 3 nights, otherwise - 2 nights.
Other:
- Pay be visa or master card, cheque or direct credit.
- Caretaker prepares the beach house prior to your arrival and cleans it after your departure for $50 + $7.50/head for linen and laundering. So easy!
