Tokaanu is a beautiful destination; this holiday home has everything you need for a family or group get away. The feature of the place is its geothermal and location Hot water is pumped through the house and then into the Hot pool. You have Sky TV, Projector, Pool table, 4 Kayaks, BBQ. Two new showers, 1 King bed 2 doubles and 6 single beds. Lake Taupo just 15 minutes walk, Tokaanu stream at the property it is a wonderful paddle in the kayaks. Additional kayaks can be hired 200 meters down the road. You are 40 minutes to Whakapapa ski area, 40 minutes Taupo, 10 minutes Turangi. Close to awsome mountain bike rides the 42 traverse and many great walks. Including the Tongariro Crossing. If you are coming to do the crossing i can arrange pick up from the house and back to the house after your walk. Then its straight into the hot pool with a nice cool beer or wine before dinner. Watch your favorite movie on the big screen or the all blacks if they are playing. what more could you ask for :)
World class White Water Rafting, http://www.raftingnewzealand.com/My charges are $195 per night for up to 4 quest then $20 per night for each person after that.
Sheets and pillow case have a charge of $10 per person for the duration of your stay.
Cleaning option of $60 is also available.
The house also backs onto the Tokaanu stream. There is a wonderful paddle of up to 2 and 1/2 hours as a circuit paddle past bubbling mud, passing the Tokaanu geothermal area, loads of trout to see as it is a trout spawning stream.
Need a good massage while in town. Tokaanu has a couple of massage therapist so let us know if you wish to book one for after a hard day out there or even if you are not. take a treat.
There is a second kitchen in the downstairs area which is a kitchenette
Just ask for things as there are plenty of options here. I have the place set up to live in so you can imagine there are lots of things around to use. Music DVD's books to read. etc Beautiful big hot pool not spa.
The geothermal heaters act as dryers thats why we do not have a dryer. I also just put a brand new gas top / electric oven double size in the house.

Rates: Lovely location lots of big trees quite spots on the section and warmth from the geothermal. Great place for families north and south to converge and share a weekend. This is an awesome holiday spot. Tuis bellbirds and more. Close to the ski fields lake hikes and more.

Great place for a group of friends. the house was lovely and warm and the pool at back just what you needed after a day skiing. Having sky and the big screen great for watching the rugby and then a scary movie!!
