Lovely little cottage, located 1.5kms from Christchurch City Centre, 50mtrs from Hagley Park, and close to Addington Railway Station. Fully furnished with up to date interior. Separate laundry. Reverse-cycle air-conditioner that works very well in summer and winter. Outdoor decking looks over the ponds. BBQ on site. Very quiet and private (no through traffic) with just the odd rumble of a passing train (about 3 mins/day).
Brockworth Cottage is located only 20 mins walk from Christchurch CBD, via the Botanic Gardens, alongside the Avon River. Access to SH73, leading to the Southern Alps, Queenstown, Dunedin and the West Coast, is only minutes away. A taxi fare from the Railway Station will cost around $10.00. SuperShuttle (0800 SHUTTLE) can pick you up from the airport, and drop you off at Brockworth Cottage, and vice versa, for around $29.00 for a family of four persons.
