We are located in Horopito..exactly halfway between both skifields..only 14kms to Ohakune, the start base for Turoa ski fields.
Our holiday house is settled on 10 acres of land, comprising of bush,lake and streams.Park like grounds, with plenty of space to run/play.
We focus on providing quality accommodation and helpful information for the Tongariro Crossing,Canoeing the Wanganui River, golfing, and the numerous walks and activities around the Ruapehu Region.

We found MJ's Retreat was absolutely fantastic and really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is kept to a very high standard and the hospitality is the warmest we have found.
