The best kept secret on the West Coast. Perfect position to explore the mystical Hokianga Harbour and neighbouring ocean beaches. 20 mins drive up the harbour to historic Rawene and the car ferry to Kohukohu with its cafe and art gallery. 20 mins drive south to Waipoua Forest and the famous huge Kauri tree, Tane Mahuta. 1 hour drive across to KeriKeri and Bay of Islands on the east coast. 3 and 1/2 hours drive from Auckland.
