This property is situated on the south west corner of the Turangi village and only minutes from all amenities Turangi is the trout fishing capital of the world and the cottage is only 4 minutes from the famous Tongariro River and Lake Taupo boat ramps. Also within minutes are the lovely Thermal hot springs and baths at Tokaanu the beautiful Turangi golf course, many fantastic walks and horse trekking. Also close by is the Turangi trout hatchery, where a great display of the history of trout fishing in NZ can be seen plus trout fishing lessons for children in special ponds by arrangement.
Winter activities Ski fields are a 25 min drive away at the beautiful Chateau Tongariro and the Whakapapa and Turoa world class ski fields.
