Water front Lockwood house on West facing section , lake edge, own private jetty and boatshed. Sundance 6 person spa,Pool Table,Darts Board, Well equipped, TVs, video, microwave,full sky , dish washer 2 bathrooms, sleeps 6 in 3 rooms. Check in 3PM Check out 10AM

Absolute lake edge 5 min walk to great fly fishing and lovely bush walks to Okere Falls. 3 minute walk to Okere Falls Cafe. On no exit road. Native trees attract Bell Birds, tuis and woodpigeons. 50 metres to white water rafting start point. Cool in mornings until around 10am - then quite cosy. With wooden floors and rugs we do recommend you bring slippers, and jandals for running around the property. 15 minutes to hot pools - boat access only (NOT provided altho' there are canoes. 20 minutes drive to Rotorua (11 minutes to airport), 40 minutes drive to Tauranga 2 hours to Ruapehu, 2.5 hours from Auckland. Pool table in garage, but we ask that no children play in garage unsupervised due to storage of boating and garden equipment
SIGHTSEEING
There is almost no limit to the sightseeing in the district! Try the Agrodome where you can discover that sheep are really very intelligent and also find out about all the breeds. Paradise Valley Springs has lion cubs, trout viewing and you can hand feed the animals. Polynesian Spa lets you soak in the mineral pools or take advantage of a massage or facial. Skyline offers Skyrides, take the Gondola up to the Luge track and race down the hill. NZ Maori Arts and Crafts Institute at Whakarewarewa offers guided tours through the thermal area and see traditional artists at work. You can try the traditional Maori hangi food and buy crafts to take home with you. Watch especially for the greenstone carving
