Boris's Lakeside Retreat is a comfortable home overlooking beautiful Lake Rotoma. This lake is a great spot for relaxation as well as all water sports, including windsurfing, canoeing, wake boarding, scuba diving and trout fishing. We are located within 30 minutes of wonderful geothermal and soda spring areas, mountain bike and tramping trails. Essential groceries are available only 1200m (15 minute stroll) away at the local dairy.

Lake Rotoma Bridle Walk, between Lake Rotoma and Lake Rotoehu, is just 10 minutes down the road. The local Geothermal Soda Springs are a great attraction only 3km away. The local rivers, lakes and forests offer endless opportunity for exploring(!), frolicking in the water, bush walking, mountain biking, canoeing, white water rafting. For the more culturally inclined vistors, scenic delights and Maori cultural experiences in the Rotorua area are just half an hour away. There you will also find everything necessary to make your visit one to remember.
