Small cottage nestled among native bush,on the side of the mountain, only a five minute easy walk to the beach. Very private, for those who enjoy solitude but appreciate all the amenities Pauanui has to offer.
The large deck which has a spa is built around Nikau Palms which the N.Z native pigeons visit regularly in berry season The bird life is a special feature of this cottage so please do not ask about bringing dogs. The property has recently been designated a property of significant natural character by the Coromandel District Council.
This cottage is not suitable for children under 5. The lower deck is not fully fenced. Please note that the second bed is a Queen/twin not a King/twin. Free To Air TV only. If you are enquiring about a booking it helps if you include any information which would reassure us that you will take good care of our cottage. If you are under 25 please advise us of your age.

We have just had another wonderful 5 days at Nikau Cottage and again have soaked up the restful, tranquil surroundings. The spa is a treat! Loved the walk to the beach. We will be back again!

A wonderful place to stay. So peaceful and relaxing. The setting is lovely with all the trees and birds to watch and listen to. The spa was great such a nice touch to a great place to stay.
