Well equipped holiday home ideally setup with indoor outdoor living for a relaxing family holiday. Set on a flat 1/4 acre fully fenced private section. Two driveways with lots of off street parking.

Ideally set up for a family holiday, can accomodate 2 familes quite well. Private and quiet surroundings set on a nicely landscaped section with native bush and shrubs, with the sound of the roaring sea and birds close by.
Two minute walk to the water front for swimming, fishing or kayaking. There are some excellent bush walks through the native bush around the edge of the Pounawea Township.
Other outdoor activities available are tennis (court recently resurfaced),golf course 3km away,mountian biking and also a great childrens playground in the township.
Pounawea is a great central location to base yourself and travel to view and enjoy the many other outdoor features and activities the Catlins has to offer, e.g Catherdal caves, Nugget Point, Surat Bay to view the sea lions plus many more attractions.
Owaka is only a 4km drive, which has a excellent 4 square supermarket, Garage, Lumberjack Bar & Cafe', Pub, Museum and a community swimming pool.

Great crib! This place is really looked after by the lovely hosts and it shows. Well set up. Nice roomy lounge and back yard. Great for a family holiday or for a peaceful solo retreat in this lovely community by the sea. Thanks heaps!
