Welcome to Wassail Brauhaus boutique B&B
The self contained two story private chalet has been designed and built with comfort and privacy in mind. Private access, and set beside a tranquil bush clad stream, amidst the pasture lands that surround Mt Egmont/Taranaki.
Located 12km south of New Plymouth off State Highway 3.
Tastefully furnished and decorated, the lounge and opens out in two direction; onto the deck, and the patio.
For those who desire to cook, a kitchen and an outdoor barbecue are provided; otherwise a fully catered service is available on request.
The upstairs bed room has a king size bed, cotton sheets, wool blankets and duvet. Oak and cane furnishings, plus picture perfect views of the mountain and surrounding countryside.
The name for our rather unique lodge is of Old English-Germanic origin, and loosely translates as: Good Health Brewery. The handcrafted English style ‘Real Ales’ are a 100% natural product. Made from local and imported malt, fresh Nelson hops, pure filtered water, and yeast. No chemicals or preservatives, no added sugars or enzymes. The beers are allowed to mature and naturally condition, are unfiltered and un-pasteurised. Then dispensed via traditional English hand pumps; draught beer as it should be enjoyed, with out the need of artificial and excessive carbonation.
