This cosy 2-bedroom cottage is set on the hillside amongst the native bush and looks down onto the water below. It has beach access, a mooring (beach launching access near by) and children's kayaks. The bach is approximately 40 minutes drive from Havelock or 50 minutes drive from Picton.
As befits a modern cottage the kitchen is well equipped and all you need to take are your provisions. Access from carport to house is via a zig-zag track - provisions must be carried down the hill. The house has 2 bedrooms, one upstairs and the other down, external access only. In the upstairs bedroom is a double bed and in the downstairs bedroom there is a set of bunks and a sofa bed. One toilet & shower upstairs, & one toilet & washing machine/dryer downstairs. There is a small lounge with a sofa bed and this opens out onto the deck complete with gas heater and gas BBQ. There is a CD player in the lounge, external speakers, along with TV, video, games and books.
The track winds down about 40 metres from the house to a typical Sounds beach. Swimming shoes an advantage. There is a mooring and beach access boat launching facility if required. Kayaks: 2 childrens, one adult (an old one) also!
