The house has a large deck, two lounges, 6 Bedrooms (3 double kings), a huge games room, 2 bathrooms, and 2 ensuites. All bed and kitchen linen plus towels and end-of-stay cleaning services are supplied!
Located at Opononi in Northland just inside the beautiful and historical Hokianga Harbour entrance, an easy and picturesque 3¼ hours drive from Auckland (including 18k through the amazing Waipua Kauri Forest featuring Tane Mahuta - the largest living Kauri tree in the world). An easy 1½ hours drive from Whangarei, or 1 hour from the famous Bay of Islands. Opononi and neighbouring Omapere beaches are safe and beautiful New Zealand white sandy beaches with small lapping waves. Both beaches are located just inside the entrance of a large deep-water harbour with wonderful views across the wide expanse of blue water to the massive Northern sand dunes and distant Warawara forested mountain range.
There are tons of things for the kids to do from playing cricket on the lawn or beach, building sand castles, swimming, boogie boarding, or playing in the dedicated games room with 29" TV with DVD player.
Meanwhile Mum and Dad can relax and enjoy the expansive views from the deck, lounge and master bedroom. The modern fully equipped kitchen and gas barbeque makes meal preparation a breeze. The large Fijian Kauri dining table seats 10.
The holiday house is suitable for young children (main stairs can be closed off), has a very generous open plan living area, a separate kids lounge, plus a large games room. It is comfortably furnished with sliding doors opening onto the large deck with barbeque and outdoor eating area. The section is large (1050 m2), gently sloping with plenty of on-site parking. Launch your boat from one of two concrete all-tide ramps.
Easily accommodates two or more families (3 double king bedrooms, two bedrooms each with two sets of bunks sleeping 4, one large bedroom sleeping 5) sleeping 23.

Rates: Rates include:
- All linen, Bedding and towels supplied. Small cost for linen, towels and laundering of $7.50 per person.
Minimum stay: Christmas/January - 6 nights (1 week), public holiday weekends - 3 nights, otherwise - 2 nights.
Other:
- Pay be visa or master card, cheque or direct credit.
- Caretaker cleans the beach house after your departure for $50 + $7.50 per head for linen and laundering. So easy!

It's just a 1 minute 100m walk down to the beach and there are many great holiday activities for everyone including:
fishing off the wharf or beach, gathering shellfish, fishing charters (harbour and deep sea options including marlin fishing). 5 minute drive to the signal station where the stunning scenic beauty of the area spreads out in front of you. From here you can go on a walk around the headland to the west coast.
20 minute drive to surf beach, take a boat trip across the harbour to go sand tobogganing - awesome fun!
Visit the local craft shops, puzzle shop & maze, cafés or dine at the quality restaurant
