"At Corru Gate we discovered everything that we most enjoy about holiday accommodation; peace and privacy in the lovely courtyard and strolling through the property. We loved all the cool creative arty touches as well as the contemporary design of the cottage. Enjoyed the bath and very efficient “pot belly” – really cozy at night! You are at the perfect location in Nelson - so close to beaches, wineries and EVERYTHING! Thanks." G, M and P Wellington.

A cracking location with a lovely vista easy access to walks, beach, potteries, wineries, and cafes. We took advantage of the (power-assisted!) cycle-hire and ferried across to Rabbit Island for the cycle track. Roger and Adelle were attentive but unobtrusive. The house is well equipped and thermo-efficient. We had a smashing time at coppergate.

A little slice of paradise. Our family of three generations all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Corru Gate. Well equipped, clean and comfortable in serene surroundings. Close to beautiful beaches, great cafes and restaurants, so everyone gets what they want. Perfect spot for kids - let them loose in the orchard or down at the frog pond and you won't see them for hours! Roger and Adele are perfect hosts, helpful and obliging but respectful of your privacy at the same time. Thanks so much - I hope we will return soon.

We stayed at Corru Gate in spring 2011 on our post-earthquake travels. It is a delightful small bach in sheltered, natural surrounds. Roger was very welcoming. A wonderful base to explore Mapua and the wider area and a great place to relax.

This wonderful place has been the perfect venue for our family's celebration of Eileen's 60th birthday. We have enjoyed this retreat immensely over these few days of quality family time together. There is so much on offer in this beautiful location that one visit is simply not sufficient to take advantage of all the possibilities. However, we have enjoyed the tranquility of Corru Gate and ventured in to Abel Tasman. Special thanks to Roger and Adele for providing this wonderful space to relax and appreciate the beauty of this land. We all loved every minute - our 19 month old especially liked the lambs!

We are sad to be leaving Corru Gate so soon - without the opportunity to really explore the paddocks and dams and hidden spots as much as we would have liked. The house is wonderfully unique and it felt like we were teenagers again - climbing the staircase to bed! This is a wonderfully secluded area with plenty of room for the younger ones to burn off any extra energy. Thank you for recommending Joy for babysitting - she was superb and made us feel at ease leaving the kids. We will be back! Congratulations on the perfect accommodation!
