From the cottage follow the Kohukohu historic walk to view some of the buildings remaining from when Kohukohu was a kauri timber milling town.
Kohukohu cottage is owned and managed by Phil and Pauline Evans and family, who have been managing quality accommodation for 20 years. Phil and Pauline are the owners of The Tree House Lodge near Kohukohu,currently rated in the top 10% of BBH World Traveller Accommodations.
Prices quoted are nightly rates for 3 or more nights. Add $10 to $30 per night for stays of 1 or 2 nights.

Day trip to Northland's west coast kauri forests and beaches and to the attractions of the Bay of Islands. Stroll around the heritage precincts of Kohukohu and Rawene and visit cafes and galleries.
