This sun drenched, secluded Kiwi holiday home with unlimited access to water, beach and nature, is only 10 minutes by road or water from Picton. Casarini is a classic example of an increasingly rare NZ holiday icon in the stunning Marlborough Sounds. Nestled in an acre of original bush, breathtaking views, three alternative outdoor sun spots, a hot tub and opportunity to view native birds, dolphins and blue penguins makes this a very special spot. The north facing aspect and cosy fireplace make this an ideal holiday spot for twelve months of the year. Many visitors and residents consider the Sounds to be even more beautiful in winter! Casarini is beautifully secluded but still very handy to Sounds activities (fishing, diving, etc), the renowned ‘Queen Charlotte Walk', wineries, resorts and restaurants. From the road car park there is a 5 minute STEEP trek down to the bach and up from the beach however the walk back up to the road requires reasonable level of fitness, a water taxi can deliver you to, or pick you up from the jetty just below the house or you can tie you own boat up at the mooring. Cellphone coverage is limited the end of the jetty is best.
