This is a typical old wooden NZ bungalow which sleeps seven comfortably, plus the basement area with four bunks and a sofa bed.
It is set in a lovely mature garden. It looks out over the Kerikeri Inlet right opposite Aroha Island, an ecological conservation area which is well worth a visit (kayaking, fishing, walking) and is just a few minutes drive (3 kms to walk!)from cafes, vineyards, arts and crafts, cinema, Kerikeri golf course, salons, massage and treatments, and shops. 10 minutes drive to boat launching facilitites at Waipapa Landing. Central base to explore the Bay of Islands and its attractions. 20 minutes from Paihia for further restaurants, shops, cafes, Waitangi golf course and cultural centre and for day trips out on the Bay of Islands.
About 3 km out of Kerikeri town along the coastal (Inlet) road with views of the Bay of Islands and hills beyond.

Our large garden contains Kauri(3), Rimu(2), Oak, Kohawai, Blue Gum, Pohutakawa, Scots Pine, Plane and fruit trees, plus a nice selection of native plants and adjoins a 10 acre reserve/arboretum full of Magnolias and Camellias. Ideal for a large family/small group, with few restrictions. Large parking area and room for caravan and tents as well! The basement is partly below ground with few windows, as you would expect.
Across the road is the "Georgian House" a Health and Spa facility newly opened.

Overseas visitors may fly into Bay of Islands airport(KKE) from Auckland(AKL) and there is an airport taxi/shuttle available to the house($15pp). For car hire (approx $50 per day) call 09-407-7783 or freefone 0800424 327. Free pick-up.
