Waiheke Heights is conveniently located close to vineyards ,beaches and restaurants. Situated on one the highest points of the western end of the island it has fabulous all round views of the Hauraki Gulf, Islands and Auckland City. It also looks out over it's own 4.7 hectare estate which includes an olive grove,lake and landscaped garden.At the end of a no exit road,Waiheke Heights is a most private property.
Waiheke Heights has two self contained properties,the Lodge and the nearby Woolshed.
The luxury appointed Lodge has four bedrooms,sleeping eight people.This is one of the few properties on Waiheke Island which has it's own indoor heated swimming pool. The Lodge has antiques and original New Zealand artwork. It also has a 40" LCD screen home theatre making it suitable for small conferences, big matches and other gatherings.
The four double bedrooms lead off a central dining area which is open plan with the large family kitchen. The home theatre /library also leads off this central area . With it's high vaulted ceilings with skylights the whole area has the 'feel' of a country Lodge. The bedrooms are also decorated with original New Zealand art sleigh beds, stylish cotton linen and wood clad walls. The family kitchen flows out into the indoor pool area which has a mass of flowering tropical plants growing around it. There is a large kauri dinning table and for functions two trestle tables. There is also room for one of these trestle tables to be put up in the kitchen as a buffet servery to cater for functions
In fair or foul weather the pool area can be used for entertaining, a BBQ or just lazing around in the heated swimming pool. In Winter the log burning stove will keep The Lodge warm whilst you and your friends enjoy watching the All Blacks or other sporting events.
The landscaped garden is also perfect for games with equipment for badmington, volley ball and petanque. The attached farmlet has rare sheep, Alpacas, chickens and ducks.
A short garden path leads to the rustic Woolshed which features a fullsize billiard table and piano. It has four single beds, one double and a sofa bd making it perfect for an overflow from the Lodge. It also has it's own dining/kitchen area which looks out over Rangitoto,Rakino and the Islands beyond.
