"Annies Cottage" is in the heart of the large intensive sheep, cattle, deer farm . Relax, unwind and treat yourselves to the best country retreat Hawke's Bay has to offer.
"Annie's Cottage" is set in very private and quiet surroundings. Excellent Trout fishing River on boundary.
A special place to wind down,relax and enjoy your stay at "Waiwhenua". We have an excellent swimming and trout fishing (guide available on request)river on the property. An extensive farm tour is offered to those that are interested. Many mountain and lake walks within 20-30 minutes drive. Soak up the atmosphere of a working family Hawkes Bay farm.
Enjoy the hospitality of your hosts Kirsty and Gary and family at the Waiwhenua historic homestead for a swim, coffee, a beer on the verandah or just a chat. Meals can be arranged for guests (usually home grown beef, lamb or venison) with prior notice. Free wireless broadband internet available at the homestead.
