Our third visit. Dave and Sue are wonderful host,s who treat people how they want to be treated. We will be back. Quiet and relaxing. New Plymouth close. Easy access to the rest of Taranaki and the mountain. Nothing is to much trouble.

Post Office Cottage is 20 minutes from the North Egmont Visitors Centre on Mt Taranaki. All within walking distance from the cottage are, Kauri Cottage a quality cafe and good for intimate evening meals, petrol station, trout fishing nearby and mountain bike trail.
New Plymouth city is 10-15 minutes drive on good roads. Supermarket, chemist, hardware store and takeaways 5 minutes away. Handy country retreat but so close to New Plymouth for all the shows and festivals. Foreshore walkway (now 14 kms)12 minutes drive. Puke Ariki Museum and PRO is easy to find and a great coffee stop. 12 minutes.
