"Hi Liz, We just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU for a wonderful stay. Even when it was raining we had a perfect time indoors, with all the games and videos. The kids loved it, and want to come back again. Everything was perfect – it is such a beautiful spot and a beautiful house. So hopefully we will see you again in summer.

Close to good swimming spot on Lake Tarawera. All day sun. Close to boat ramp.
We offer guests a "wet boat shed" ie a boat shed in the water on the edge of the lake to drive your boat in & out of. $10 day for guests. Leave your boat in the lockable shed for your stay. No need to be putting your boat in & out of the water. So convenient & very sought after.

Really enjoyed the facilities, privacy and tranquility of this bach. All six of us (15 and over) enjoyed the space and position this bach has. The kayaks were a hit too. Great place for a family holiday, we'll be back!

Lake Tarawera is great for Trout Fishing, Swimming, Watersports. Execellent bush walks and quiet private setting. 20 Minutes from Rotorua
One of NZ's Great Walks is currently being constructed around Lake Tarawera. The first leg from The Buried Village to Hotwater Beach is nearly completed. We can do pick ups & drop offs with our boat "THE FAT PIGEON TOO" There are many other walks as well; eg to The Tarawera Falls & to Lake Rotomahana to see where the pink & whie terraces used to be.
