Unless you have a winter-grade wetsuit, DO NOT hire this property for the swimming pool... as you will be sorely disappointed.

In winter Ski at 4 local ski fields - Roundhill, Mt Dobson, Ohau and Fox Peak. Visit the Alpine Springs & Winter Park with ice-skating rink, snow tubing, hot springs and day spa.
Visit Mt John Observatory for star gazing tours or walk the Mount to the cafe with awesome views, coffee & food!
Other activities include hunting, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, scenic flights, horse trekking, a salmon farm, lake cruises, mini golf, MacKenzie golf course (all welcome), kyaking/canoeing, water skiing, walks and plenty of great photo opportunities, as well as the 'Church of the Good Shepperd'.
Tekapo Village has restaurants, petrol station, mini supermarket, tourism outlets, cafes etc.
