Absolute waterfront in the heart of Ruby Bay. Two roomy self-contained apartments on ground level of a big house set in half a hectare of sheltered lawn and garden, metres from high-tide on a swimming beach.
Each apartment feels like a private, stand-alone house, with its own entrance, lots of light, high stud, and glass doors to separate walled courtyards.
One has two bedrooms (one queen, one double) with built-ins, and there is a very large open-plan skylit kitchen-dining-living room. One of the sofas here makes into a sofabed.
The other apartment has a huge bedroom, with kingsize bed plus single and built-ins, and kitchen/lounge/dining.
Quality linen and interesting art and design throughout. Shared BBQ, double kayak, laundry. Takeaway at gate and 3km drive or low-tide beach walk to Mapua shops, bars and restaurants.

Accommodation is casual and private, set in 0.4 hectare grounds, absolute waterfront. Minutes from all the activity of Mapua. The long sweep of Ruby Bay's stony-sandy beach has views from Moutere Bluffs to D'Urville Island to French Pass to Nelson city to Rabbit Island and Mapua Inlet. Rates: NOTE: There are two apartments. The one-bedroom is $150 a night for two people, plus $40 a night for a third person. The two-bedroom apartment is $200 a night for up to four people, then $40 each for up to two guests (there is a sofabed in living room).
