Sleeps 6-7. Ideal for couples, a family, or two families to share. Warm, sunny Queen master bedroom with ensuite upstairs. Bathroom, one single bedroom and a second small room with trundle bed that easily sleeps two, on ground floor. Sleepout has a Queen bed and ensuite (plus laundry). Extra children can be accommodated by arrangement.
This funky property has great indoor outdoor flow, with all ground floor living areas and bedrooms opening to outside. Two living areas. Large dining table seats 8. A fabulous outdoor fireplace to enjoy on cool summer evenings and an indoor wood burner for winter getaways. Modern fully equipped kitchen with plenty of plates and cutlery, BBQ and outdoor furniture. Freeview TV/DVD and radio/stereo with iPod and laptop ports. Wooden floors with middle eastern rugs. Linen available by arrangement.
Minutes from the beach. and a short stroll to great cafes, bars and takeaways.
Five kms from the main road and main Waikanae shops. Fifty minutes drive from central Wellington or commute by train then bus to the corner.
The large fully fenced section backs onto a reserve, ideal for family cricket games. Tennis court, golf course, dairy and a well stocked grocery store and a choice of kids playgrounds all within walking distance. Public swimming pool a couple of minutes drive away. Great walking and bike trails around the nearby lagoons, wildlife reserves, along the river and in the hills.
We welcome house-trained and well-behaved dogs but the property is not suitable for toddlers or very young children I’m afraid, due to an above ground fish pond and very spiky plants like yuccas and cacti.
Available for a minimum of three nights. Please add cleaning fee of $50 for bookings under four nights. Cleaning is included for rentals of four nights and over. Some dates in January 2012 are still available.
