Enjoy the best coffee and food you'll find anywhere. Ask me for ideas on what to do while you are here. Free pickup if you are travelling by bus. Tea, coffee, milk, linen and towels are supplied. Spend a few days and explore the surrounding area. Just 1.5 hours drive to Franz Josef and 1 hour to Punakaiki for The Pancake Rocks. Take a drive to see Lake Kaniere and Hokitika Gorge. Our West Coast Tree Walk is a must do! You won't be disappointed. Ask Ann about her Hokitika Historic Walk available on request. Take the Tranz Alpine Train from Christchurch to Greymouth and hire a car to begin your South Island Adventure. While you are at the Cottage you can enjoy the sunny deck in the morning and stroll on the beach in the evening and watch the sunset. Cook your own meal or dine out in one of Hokitika's excellent restaurants. Or you can catch the latest movie at The Regent Theatre then take a walk around the corner from the Cottage after dark to view the Glow Worm Dell.

A lovely cottage close to the ocean and town. The beds were super comfortable and Ann made my sister and I feel very welcome. Would definitely love to stay again when I visit my Hokitika friends
