Te Awanga Cottages feature two delightful Cottages situated in a picturesque coastal setting. Featuring beach walks, bike paths, winetasting, golfing and alfresco dining yet only a 15-20 min scenic drive to hip Havelock North, Hastings and Art Deco Napier.
Both architecturally designed, Te Awanga Cottages feature views of the surrounding hills and lush interior furnishings. If you are looking for that special accommodation after a day of sightseeing or business, a relaxing retreat, or the venue for a celebration, Te Awanga Cottages welcomes you.
Enjoy a refreshing morning walk through the village to the ocean (just follow the sound of the waves) or a stroll towards the Cape on Clifton Road to Clifton Cafe. The Rotary Pathway is at your doorstep with extended cycleways and walkways.
Envisioned with relaxation as a priority, the one-bedroom Cottage floor plan includes a bath with outdoor viewing and partially-enclosed decks to view the sun rising and setting with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
The Cottages (Ilikai and Moana) will each accommodate 2 people, with a choice of either a king-sized bed or two long-single beds. A roll-away slat bed is available for a third person. We are unable to cater for children under the age of 14.
