In a farm yard setting Possum Cottage is a fully self contained cottage 7 mins from Fairlie.It is situated on our sheep ,cattle and deer farm 5km off the Fairlie- Timaru road (SH8).The farm goes to the top of the Albury Range so is great for mountainbiking and walking. The native tussock land and gorge are easy to access and interesting.The views are stunning. Its a relaxing place ideal for all travelers...children just love the farmyard animals and open spaces.The lounge.dining room and kitchen are now open plan.There is a lovely open fire for the winter nigths and Freeview in the lounge but not on the TV in the back room.Both TVs have a DVD player.Lots of books to browse thru and toys for the children
Possum cottage is in our farmyard.There are plenty of farmyard animals to entertain the children.Surronded in trees there is plenty of bird life and nature to look for.We are at the end of a no exit road so apart from the farm vechiles it is a peaceful place to stay.The view of the Fairlie basin is exceptional and there are plenty of options for walking and mountain bike riding
