Grassmere is ideally located 5min from Richmond and 15km from Nelson. Preference is given to bookings of one week or longer. Grassmere is stones throw from the beautiful unspoilt Rabbit Island beach and several award winning wineries. Greenacres Golf Course and the Richmond Park Race Course are 5min away.
The homestead is set amidst a private park-like garden,with an interior of country-style charm and traditional comforts. Guests will enjoy a very spacious family room, a large kitchen with casual dining and a separate formal dining room ; as well as four well appointed bedrooms. There is a bathroom with shower,bath and toilet with another second separate toilet room. French doors open onto verandahs overlooking the garden and the rural vistas beyond.The gardens of Grassmere feature spacious lawns, mature trees and perennial borders. Outdoor seating areas allow alfresco dining. The summer house within the garden offers our guests the perfect space for peace and tranquility.
Grassmere is the perfect holiday-home. A retreat for an activity-driven holiday or simply a haven during a relaxing sojourn .
Grassmere is not suitable for children 7 years and younger.
Grassmere is not avaliable as a place of venue for large gatherings, such as weddings or parties.
Guests have access to the property from 1400 on arrival day.Guests are kindly requested to vacate by 1100 on departure day.

Rates: Grassmere is a fully self-contained holiday house. Guests are requested to ensure home is left cleaned and tidy, as found, on day of departure. Please note Grassmere is avaliable for guests any time after 1400 on arrival day and guests are politely requested to vacate Grassmere by 1100 on depature day.
