I cannot say enough about this house and Stuart and Carole, the owners. This place is all about getting away from it all--in comfort. We stayed three nights and I would say that is about the minimum reasonable stay. Karekare is about 40 ... Read more

Karekare surf beach is only seconds from the lodge, which is surrounded by dramatic cliffs and beautiful rainforest. There are over 240km of walking trails in the Waitakere Ranges and Titirangi village with shops, cafes, restaurants, art gallery and theatre is only 20 mins drive away. Downtown Auckland is 40 mins drive.
