Puka Lodge is a 3-bedroom cottage style Pukawa Bay holiday home, a few blocks inland from the lakefront. This is a great all-year-round home with a traditional interior style that compliments the native bush surrounds!

This Pukawa Bay holiday home has a simple layout, designed for summer and winter living! The one-storey home has an open plan living, dining and kitchen space. The exposed timber gives the feeling of a cottage escape, with windows that look out to leafy green surrounds.

There is a large sized kitchen bench, which is good for preparing meals. The kitchen flows onto the dining area, which features a lovely wooden table. The kitchen and dining spaces feature hard flooring that connects to the carpeted lounge area. The lounge features large sized couches that are suitable for a family to stretch out on. The curtains that wrap around the open plan living and dining space add a sense of cosy & warmth to the home. There is a wood burner in the living area with wood supplied - with a heat transfer system. There is also a TV & DVD for all home entertainment in the lounge.

Through the open plan space there is a hallway that connects to three bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed, and a leafy outlook. The second bedroom has a double bed and one single bed. And the third bedroom features a set of single bunks and one rollaway bed. In the bathroom there is a shower over the tub - great for bathing children. The laundry has a drying cupboard for waders/ski gear along with an extra fridge/freezer & microwave. There is also a BBQ with a fish smoker, which is great for the long lazy summer day feasts! Excellent boat parking facilities.

There is also an identical rear 3 bedroom unit attached to the property that includes all facilities and similiar sleeping arrangements as the front unit (3 bedrooms, 7 people). The use of the unit is to subject to availability. Linen is available. The rental availability calendar and nightly rate is for the front unit only. A great idea for the extended family. This home is a short walk to the lake. If you need to pick up basics like milk and newspaper; just take the bush land walk to Omori store! It's just 40 minutes drive to the ski fields. It is also 10 minutes away from Tokannu, which has hot pools, ski and kayaking options. Turangi is just 15 minutes drive to get to cafes, supermarkets and to the National Trout Centre.

This house is an ideal location for a summer holiday lazing in the beach or a winter holiday in the snow...!!
