This is a delightful private cottage set on 40 acres of native bush with stunning views, with private walking tracks onto the QueenCharlotte walkway[Portage to Mistletoe section]
Tara Bay is only a short 5min walk onto a safe swimming beach with a jetty to fish and swim from. There is a dinghy and kayak with life jackets provided.
The house has open plan living log burner for winter occupation. Kitchen, dinning area, everything is provided, dishwasher, microwave TV free-to-air channells.
Up stairs is a large master bedroom with ensuite, kingsize bed TV wonderful views of Tara Bay.The cottage has large decks with outside BBQ table and chairs.
The sunny sleepout has 2 double beds TV outside access to bathroom/toliet
Location 2290 Kenepuru Road is between TeMahia and Portage Bay, this provides you with many options and adventures. Mountain biking, fishing kayaking, beautiful walking tracks.
It is only 8k to the Portage Resort Hotel for fine dinning in the restaurant,or Cafe Bar should you need a night off.
From the cottage you can walk to the wellknown Lockmara Resort in the QueenCharlotte Sound for lunch approx one hour 30min each way.
