Mine Bay is a 100m walk from the house where you can swim to the Maori carvings about 40m from the bay, or just laze on the beach. Kayaks can be hired and there are bush walks to enjoy close by. Should you choose this property for a winter getaway the comfy lounge area also has a open fire (firewood provided) to relax in front of and electric heating, so no chance of getting cold on those winter nights. There is a separate TV room, complete with Sky, video, and a stereo/CD player. There is a modern kitchen fitted with all the mod cons and a laundry room with washing machine and dryer. There are 5 bedrooms separated into 2 wings - perfect for 2 families to enjoy a holiday together. One wing has 2 bedrooms with 1 queen bed and 2 single beds, plus a bathroom with shower, bath and separate toilet. The other wing has 3 bedrooms, 1 king bed, 1 super king, and 2 single beds - plus a semi ensuite with shower, bath and separate toilet! In addition to the fabulous sleeping accommodation, there is a large rumpus room downstairs - great hangout for the older kids.
