Modern, spacious and fully equipped, Bay Tree Cottage offers a comfortable, private, country retreat while being within easy reach of Rangiora, Kaiapoi and Christchurch city. It is set in the grounds of a 10 acre property with its own garden and private courtyard enjoying uninterrupted rural views and perfect tranquility.
The ground floor is open plan with large living area, dining table and chairs and modern, fully equipped kitchen. French doors from the living area open onto the private, sunny courtyard with barbeque and outdoor table and chairs. The bathroom has a shower, basin and washing machine.
Upstairs consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 with queen bed, the other with 2 king singles and a trundler bed. Both have large wardrobes, bedside tables and chests of drawers and enjoy lovely views of the surrounding countryside.
The cottage is double glazed and has heat pumps both upstairs and downstairs.
Linen is supplied.
A continental breakfast hamper and eggs from our own free range chickens will be supplied for your first morning.
Good cell phone coverage and wireless internet connection available.
The Cottage is a perfect base for exploring Canterbury - just 10mins from the rural townships of Rangiora and Kaiapoi, and 25mins from the beautiful ‘garden city’ of Christchurch, and within easy reach of ski fields, beaches, Waipara wineries and a large number of excellent golf courses.

The best Holiday House I have stayed in. The breakfast tray was a really nice welcome touch. Loved the quiet country feel. A really relaxing place...will definitely be back!! :)
