This comfortable 3-bedroom fully self-contained holiday cottage is a few minutes walk to Parapara beach and accommodates up to six people. You will find Parapara a quiet beach-side community approximately 20-minutes drive from Takaka and even over the busy summer months one will find the beach peaceful and unpopulated. A large deck gives stunning views over Parapara Inlet, ideal for bird watching and where at high tide one can swim (very shallow, so it gets warm quickly!). Walk or mountain bike in the nearby Parapara woods, or explore tracks at Milnthorpe Reserve. Kayaks, windsurfers and dinghies are available (for use on the Inlet) from Parapara Sailing club; just across the road. You are only a 5km drive to the popular Mussel Inn cafe and brewery where you can often catch live entertainment over the summer months. The property offers good off-road parking for two vehicles/and or boat. Kotuku is only a 10 minute drive to Collingwood that allows visitors an insight on the local history. Bed and bathroom linens provided, the master bedroom has en-suite, and the main bathroom has both shower and bath. You will find Kotuku cottage well equipped and relaxing, making it the ideal family get-away.
