Garden lovers will enjoy the seasonal changes at Fernside. Springtime brings forth magnificent displays of daffodils, winter roses, bluebells,camellias and rhododendrons. In summer come and enjoy the herbaceous borders and rose and lily dispays. Autumn provides a rich tapestry of oranges, reds and yellows from the oaks, ashes, maples and liquidambers.

The Gatehouse, dating from the 1880s was originally the stable, carriage house and hayloft, then the chauffeur's quarters on the Fernside estate. It has recently been restored, renovated and refurbished to provide unique accommodation for a family holiday, romantic getaway, or winter retreat.
The Gatehouse offers
3 bedroomed cottage (2 double and 1 twin containing 2 singles)
2 bathrooms – one family with bath and shower, one ensuite with cast iron roll top claw foot bath, double shower and toilet.
Fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, electric oven, microwave and dishwasher
Laundry with washer/dryer and ironing facilities
Large lounge dining area with woodburner connected to radiators to the bedrooms
