The apartment@greenhill is an architecturally designed, stand alone 2 bedroom Nelson holiday home situated on the foothills and close proximity to Tahunanui beach.
The structure was originally the dairy and part of the outbuildings of the 1880 Greenhill homestead. The very private situation allows for total relaxation yet it is in close proximity to the beach, airport, shops and restaurants. Walking and biking trails are nearby.
The apartment has two bedrooms - one double, one queen and the living area doubles as a bedroom with two fold down singles. Effective heating/cooling and thick walls make it very comfortable and quiet. Combining European design and fittings with a typical New Zealand outbuilding look the apartment is built around eco friendly principals encompassing special glazing and insulation, lighting and heating. Interior decoration is modern, using natural materials for bedding, blinds and floors.
There are two bathrooms/toilets, and high pressure showers, an efficient and modern, fully equipped kitchen with gas hob, oven and dishwasher. Inside and outside living is attractive, especially with the completely fold back windows in the kitchen allowing access for food preparation and serving. The living area features a flat screen SAT-TV, radio, DVD/CD player and wireless Internet.
Outside there are two private courtyards, an off street park for one car and the possibility of another.
Overlooking the house garden towards the sea, the new apartment@greenhill is nestled on the edge of a grove of 100 year old native trees. The apartment@greenhill is the ideal haven for anyone wanting to have a relaxing time in a very comfortable and private location. We cater for honeymoon couples and other special occasions. Breakfast and pick ups are available by prior arrangement, we can book activities, tours, spa treatments etc. and we are here to assist in all ways possible.

Beautiful quiet location in a lovely bush setting. Very well appointed with lovely fixtures, fittings, linen and mini library. Will be back next time we are in Nelson - if it isn't booked solid already!

The very private situation allows for total relaxation yet it is in close proximity to the beach (2 minutes by car, 5 minutes by bike or a leisurely 12 minute stroll) and 2 minutes to the airport and the WOW Museum. Restaurants and Cafe’s are in close proximity and the City Centre is 7 minutes along the waterfront. Walking and biking trails are close and shops nearby.
Nelson is the sunniest region of New Zealand, offering exciting activities, art and cultural festivals. Three National Parks, a gentle countryside dotted with vineyards, orchards and artist studios are on our doorstep. Nelson also offers superb cuisine at waterfront Cafes specialising in seafood, local produce and award winning wines. If fishing is your passion Nelson has the best trout rivers and fishing charters are available out on Tasman Bay.
