COMMENTS: Smell the ocean! . Three level, four-bedroom house within 200 metres of the beach. Views to Alderman Islands, and native bush and birds on back doorstep. Fully equipped with quality furnishings and beds with quality mattresses. Well-equipped kitchen with fridge/freezer, multi-function oven, ceramic hob, convection microwave, dishwasher and waste disposal unit. Full range of drink ware, cutlery, kitchen knives, coffee plunger and small kitchen appliances etc. Automatic laundry, TV, radio, CD player and tape deck. sKY BOX BUT ONLY PRIME, bring your own card. Linen available as above, but must be laundered prior to departure please. Shower and toilet on both ground and middle levels, plus outside hot/cold shower for rinsing off sand. Gas BBQ and deck chairs available. Decks on two levels. Quiet area, so please, no noisy parties.
Great starting point for many places of interest on the Coromandel including Hot Water Beach, Cathedral Cove, Whitianga, (a must is the boning carving) Driving Creek Railway, Waiau Water Works, Butterfly garden, Miranda Hot Pools, Miranda Shorebird Centre, Thames etc. No in-house phone. Card and coin phones in area. Handy to shops and restaurants. Local airstrip. Pleasant ferry trip to Tairua (or 20 mins by car). Golf, tennis, bushwalks, diving, horse trekking, boat ramp.
