The master bedroom is downstairs and opens up to a deck overlooking native bush. The huge upstairs area has a partition, 2 double bunks and a double bed and a study area. A deck leads to a magnificent view due west over Tryphena Harbour into the setting sun as the house has an elevated position and is a 200m stroll to the beach.
Jagerhaus occupies a commanding position overlooking Gooseberry Flat beach, the exclusive beach faces due west into the setting sun. The property has decks upstairs and downstairs. Additionally, the rear deck looks over native Kiwi bush and a private track leads down to a stream which can be followed up the hill behind the house. Eels are sometimes found in the lower part of the stream. There is abundant bird life and shelter is obtained from an ancient Pohutakawa tree and other native species. There is a BBQ and fish smoker for those snapper and John Dory caught out on Tryphena Harbour.
Jagerhaus is conveniently located half-way between the Mulberry Grove store and the Stonewall shops and Irish Pub. Both are in easy walking distance so a car is not required. Cellphone coverage is patchy. Phone can be connected by arrangement at extra fee.
