Glendale Riverview is a traditional family holiday home nestled above the fabulous Waiau River. It has stunning views down the river to the legendary Takitimu Mountain range and across the river to the native bush of the Fiordland National Park. A relaxing and sunny home surrounded by spectacular scenery. From the balcony or breakfast table, savour the tranquillity of the many acres of native bush and bird life of this World Heritage area. Conveniently close to Manapouri Lakefront, river and town shops. Glendale is a family friendly, self contained and independent home with a fully fenced large private rhododendron filled garden with good drive on access.
Glendale Riverview is homely and fully furnished with all new beds, bedding and leather lounge suite. Gas heat pump and additional electrical heating available.
There are two bedrooms upstairs - one King and one Queen (the queen bedroom is very small)
Downstairs is a family room with a Queen bed curtained off from two single beds. There is a tv downstairs also.
NOTE - Steep stairs between floors, bathroom is downstairs.
Manapouri is a Southern Scenic Route town. Manapouri is the departure point for Doubtful Sound, also en route to Milford Sound.
