A perfect place to have a week or a weekend away and if you don't feel like cooking then stroll to restaurants in both directions, north and south...generous meals that will impress you for sure.
It's remote and lush and feels very cared for. Enjoy long beach and bush walks, wonderful mountain views and Absolute Beach views and access. Outdoor bath for stargazing and a hot soak.

Our beds are hospitality grade. Extremely comfy! The lounge has big flat screen tv and everything else you'll need to be entertained in the evenings if you choose.

I LOVE THIS HOUSE! I wish it were mine! Seriously fantastic - so relaxing and a wonderful interior feel - arty and quaint but with all essential mod cons. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks!

Raining during my stay, I was warm, clean, dry, and able to enjoy the views of the sea. Amazing place. I had a hot bath in the cool rain and I'll remember this for ever as very my very NZ experience.

Historical Railway Museums, endless walking tracks, seal colonies, famous Hector dolphins - we are near Hector. Theres so many fishing spots and whitebait spots everywhere here. Taverns and Art galleries are plentiful, so you can buy directly from renowned artists. Its known as the most eccentric village in NZ!
