"...We just adored our few days in your beautiful "Akaroa House"!!!
"There it sat - on the hill - majestically overlooking the stunning harbour and township. We immediately felt so comfortable and relaxed in our superb surroundings. The house exudes such a homely feeling and is so beautifully appointed. We enjoyed such a lovely family celebration!!! We loved cooking in the enormous kitchen and dining at your gracious table. Breakfast was taken on the deck outside the kitchen - relaxing in the morning sun. The verandahs enveloped us as we shared cocktails - taking in the wonderful scenery and sunsets.
- thank you again for our glorious few days in Paradise - we look forward to returning to your beautiful home!!!'"

Treat yourself.... - gorgeous renovated heritage house for sole occupancy. Can accommodate up to ten guests in five bedrooms and four bathrooms.
Lovely views from every room. A verandah wraps around three sides to enjoy the sun or shade.
An ideal base for enjoying Akaroa and surrounds. Very handy 5 minute walk into Akaroa village - plenty of cafes, restaurants and art galleries/shops. Very peaceful and private setting in beautifully landscaped gardens of roses.
A beautiful place to call home. Servicing available. Fully linened.
No more than 10 in the house for any purpose at any time. Not suitable for little children - as not fenced and too many tricky things at low heights. No pets.
Stunning views from every room and the verandah, over the beach, sea, village and up into the hills. A great treat to enjoy Akaroa and surrounding area. Easy five minute walk to the village, wharf, cafes and shops. Lovely peaceful and private setting
Sue from London wrote..."Akaroa House was everything we hoped for and more! It is the perfect venue for a family gathering and everything is laid on which made it so easy to relax and enjoy being together. The high standard of decor and furnishings are just great and you should be very proud of what you have achieved. I had no idea that it had started off as one level and the top floor had been added when the renovations had been done. What a seamless addition. I would recommend Akaroa House to everyone and haven't stopped raving about it. It's always a gamble when you choose something from the internet but I had a good vibe from the offset and all my dealings with you reinforced that. I wanted somewhere special for Mum and Akaroa House provided that. I wanted somewhere warm for Tony and me and it provided that too so it ticked all the boxes. Sadly we didn't get to try the French bath!
Again, many thanks for all yr help in the lead up to our arrival and for checking up on us while we were there."
