Plenty of stuff for kids (rumpus with sep tv, basketball hop, sandpit, darts, pool table and ping pong table in rumpus. Sky tv to lounge, rumpus and master bedroom. Fully fenced so kid safe.

Just got back! Brilliant, our firt time away with our two year old twins. They loved it! Rumpus room with sky and dvd (for Barney!) Sandpit and swings. Very homely and safe beautifully warm too! Thank you!

Things to do at Foxton Beach.
Leisure:water sports/water ski in extuary ay high tide, free tennis courts, bike and skate board ramps, playparks, walks along estuary front and ocean beach. Bike rides using bach bikes. kayak, sail, wind surf, kite surf in estuary, learn to kite surf (see www.windwarrior). Whitebaiting Aug to Nov.
Food: 2 x fish and chip shops at the beach, 1 x good store, garage, good quality restaurant/bar (simply barmy) near ocean beach. Foxton town 5km away has New World supermarket, shops, video, chinese takeaway and lots of tourest stuff to do (tram rides, windmill etc.
Fishing: boat launch from good boat ramps (snapper, kahawai, gurmard), fish off warfe, surf cast incoming tide at estuary river and beach. Net fish on banks of manawatu river set and check at low tide (Kahawai and flounder)
At the Bach: I recommend sitting on huge deck drinking beer and listening to music. Watch sky, drink more beer, play darts, pool, and then maybe have another cold beer !! After this you will deserve some fresh fish and chippie, walk down the road and get it !!
