Our home sleeps 8, is no more than 5 minutes stroll to the local supermarket, village centre, playground and local heated swimming pool (November – March. The outlook is private and in an exceptionally quiet location. Very sunny and light, it is well equipped with all the modern conveniences any family would require. Our home was fully redecorated September 2009 so it is easy to settle in and enjoy the peace.
Come and stay at our sunny, recently redecorated holiday home in Geraldine. Enjoy the micro-climate and wonders of this gorgeous village and its surroundings. It’s an ideal retreat to relax and rewind. Only 90 mins from Christchurch and on the gateway to ski-fields, balmy lakes and the sea-side township of Timaru - there’s plenty to keep you occupied for as little or as long as you like. Enjoy outside dining at many of the local cafes, or perhaps food tasting at Barkers, Fellmann’s chocolate, Talbot Forest Cheese and the Honey Corner shop. To walk off the pounds, just head to Peel Forest and climb Little Mount Peel or refresh in the cooling rivers that flow in and around the town. The kids will love the free entertainment.

Fantastic place to stay. Great location, great house, great people. House is extremely well presented and yet was user friendly for our preschool children. And would be fine for older children as well.
