Waiotai Tapueatahi, nestled alongside a small fresh water creek and facing the Pacific Ocean, offers two self contained bach-style accommodation units for couples or families to enjoy all that the Bay of Islands has to offer. Just 20 minutes north Kerikeri, Waiotai is the perfect weekend or mid-week escape. Unwind and reconnect with the beautiful northland scenery from the two bedroom cottage with sun room or the kiwiana bach that rumor has it was an old 1920s school house. Facilities include two separate dwellings sleeping 5 and 4 people, large flat gardens with uniterrupted access to the beach, a smoke house, a fish table and BBQ. A large entertaining deck on the cottage allows you to entertain and listen to the ocean while overlooking the stunning nautical playground where children safely swim and fisherman launch their boats. Popular activities at the small Tapueatahi settlement include leisurely walking along the private beach and estuary, crossing the channel to a small salt water lagoon, and long lunches and conversations looking out to the Bay of Islands. The famous Kerikeri farmers markets and wineries, golf at Kauri Cliffs and swimming with the dolphins in Paihia are all within close driving distance. Live the Waiotai life.
The name Waiotai means never ending water and describes this unique properties position in the private Tapuatahi settlement. It is a family bach which has only recently been offered for others to share. Our family believe, that Waiotai is a truly magical place that people need to experience.
Cottage sleeps 5 and contains 2 bedrooms and a sun room. People have been known to sleep on the covered deck to make the most of the sound of the ocean.
Bach sleeps 4 and has one bedroom and a bunk/recreation room.
Children and pets are welcome.
All rubbish needs to be removed from the property on departure. There is a rubbish collection at the gate first thing Friday morning with prepaid rubbish bags available from the supermarket or dairy.
Please no smoking inside.
Linen hire is available on request.

Cancellation policy: If you cancell within 30 days of booked arrival the cost to you is 100% of letting fee MINUS any days that are relet. Otherwise all cancellations incur a $60 cancellation admin fee.
