Porpoise Bay Getaway is Located at the opposite end of the beach to Curio Bay Camping Ground. The house is on a privately owned farm and it is just a short walk over to the beach.
It is a spacious 3 Bedroom home which is fully self contained with all linen supplied. There are 2 toilets and showers with a seperate bathroom. There are laundry facilities which include a clothes dryer. The house is heated by a wood burner and a nightstore heater.
The Local Attractions and Activities are the Petrified Forest, Yellow Eyed Penguins, Hectors Dolphins, Seals and Sea Lions. There are Bush Walks and one of the safest beaches for swimming, surfing, kayaking and fishing. Our local Museum has an Information Centre and plenty of history of the area and just next door is the best fish'n'chips around at Blue Cod Blues Takeaways.
Also new to Waikawa Harbour is the Catlins Marine Encounters, where you can book fishing and diving charters, mammal watching, scenic charters, corporate charters, harbour cruises or boat hire.
