Stay at the Environment Award Winning (2009) Wildlife Park in an out of the world place! Tui Nature Reserve is part of a 160 ha semi-island wilderness in the Marlborough Sounds. When you arrive at the wharf, we will take you on an exciting ride with a Kawasaki Mule. Your retreat is located 180 mtr above sealevel, imagine the views!
Your hide away home is cosy, fully equipped with a woodburner. It boasts exceptional panoramic views of the Pelorus from every window and the verandah.
A boat charter through the amazing bays, coves and waterways of the Marlborough Sounds is possible. Enjoy the rocky shores with the Shag colonies and other magnificent marine wild life like the Penquins, Gannets and with a bit of luck, depending on the season dolphins and seals.
Explore the lovely walking tracks that will end up on beautiful private beaches. Some of the tracks follow the ridge, 260 metre above sealevel with 360 degrees awesome views!
Take the kayaks (beginners) out for a relaxing time on the water and to enjoy the secluded beaches for a picnic. You can also go for a guided conservation tour including a look at the Marlborough Green Gecko, Giant Weta and Kakariki breeding programme.
Boat tours to the park leave from Elaine Bay.
The house is located in an out of the world place, in the middle of nowhere but with a helping hand nearby! Wonderful spectacular private walkingtracks, affordable sightseeing charters, private bays for swimming.
There are also heaps of games and puzzles available plus Freeview TV.
Environment Award winning Tui Nature Reserve is accessible by boat, watertaxi or mailboat only, which your host can organize for you.
