Killin at Lake Ohau is a 50 acre private and secluded property with its own forest and an idyllic lake frontage access to Lake Middleton. Killin has views of Lake Middleton, mountains and forest. Twizel and Omarama are approx 20-30 mintues drive.
Accommodation at Killin includes a large red barn containing 5 bedrooms, 1 downstairs and 4 upstairs.
The downstairs bedroom has a queensize bed with ensuite bathroom and toilet. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms with queensize beds and 1 room with 2 single beds and a set of bunks, therefore there is sleeping accommodation for up to 12. There is a bathroom/toilet upstairs. The large kitchen, with great view of the mountains, has a gas cook top, electric oven, dishwasher and fridge/freezer with ice maker. Off the kitchen is the utility room with washing machine, dryer, and a second fridge/freezer. The kitchen, dining and living are all open plan in a L shape. The dining area has two large Kauri tables with seating for 20, the living area has a wood burner, satellite free-to-air TV and telephone. DVD is by projector onto large screen in living area.
Other features include: Garage space, 2 canoes, 2 rowboats, 2 bikes, assortment of lifejackets, and possible use of speedboat with skis and ski biscuits.
Ohau Ski Field access is only 5kms away. In summer there is boating, fishing and swimming to be enjoyed at either LakeOhau or rivers close by. The area is a trampers, climbers and bikers paradise.
