Wild Thyme has a leisure built unit next to it that has a Queen bed & a pull out couch It can be rented for EXTRA GUESTS if you are renting one of the houses.It's available (for $15 per person over Xmas holidays & Easter, & $10 per person for the rest of the year) Well trained house dogs by arrangement. A huge deck joins both houses making it perfect for 2 families, or you can just rent one. Solar powered (with grid back up), bamboo floors, dishwashers,fenced. Kayaks available Outside shower (& inside of course). Also an extra outside toilet & fish cleaning sink.
Right next to, but separate from, Kuatounu motorcamp on Bluff Rd. Next to creek & surf beach & access is just across Bluff Rd. No houses in front of us. Built wih the environment in mind with a solar tracker for efficient power supply (power is solar, but also with automatic grid back up if neccessary), bamboo floors & interior painted with eco paints. 15kms to Whitianga, 20 kms to Coromandel. Stunningly beautiful area with equally stunning views from the houses. Great fishing & 500 metres to a boat ramp. We already have 2 very popular holiday homes at Lake Tarawera near Rotorua & are using the same principles of good hospitality & high quality, clean homes with lots of extras to escape to.
