The Barn in Tekapo is a bespoke designed family house with stunning lake views situated minutes walk from Tekapo township in the Lochinver Run subdivision, and within easy driving distance of all the main tourist hot spots in the Mackenzie basin. Finished in July 2007 The Barn offers sleeping for up to 9 people in 3 bedrooms. There are two queen sized bedrooms (one on each level) and 4 single beds in a second upstairs bedroom. There is also a portacot so you can have flexibility about which room you might want to sleep your baby. It is ideal for that family break away from the city. It is well appointed and should suit your every need weather you want to enjoy the alpine adventure, the aquatic beauty of Lake Tekapo, or merely soak up the summer sun and relax.
Base rates are with clients to self clean and provide their own linen although both can be provided for an extra charge. Three TVs with two DVD - one upstairs for kids. We have a porta cot. The house has underfloor heating, 2 heat pumps, log burner, Freeview, and a 42 inch flatscreen television in the main living area.

We had a wonderful Christmas Vacation at the Barn. All the facilities were top notch and the open plan living space meant we had a relaxed and carefree Christmas. The owners were friendly and relaxed to deal with. Hope to return soon!
